Parking
NOTICE:
Due to the large number of illegally parked cars, the Douglas County Sheriff will be ticketing illegally parked vehicles.
On street parking is permitted on one side of the street only. No parking signs are posted on street sides where parking is prohibited.
Due to the narrow streets in the district, fire trucks and other rescue vehicles may find roads impassable when cars park on both sides of the street. Therefore, the SID, Douglas County Sheriff, and Citizens Patrol are working closely to enforce the no parking zones.
Temporary parking is still allowed in most common areas. This is done as a courtesy to allow homeowners ample parking for guests or an occasion special situation. The SID reserves the right to have vehicles towed, at owner’s expense, when this privilege is abused.
We also hope to have portions of the park open for 4th of July parking.
