About Riverside Lakes

Riverside Lakes is a tranquil lakeside community nestled along the Elkhorn River just west of Omaha Nebraska.  Homeowners enjoy a host of amenities that include a boating lake, fishing lake, river, tennis courts, volleyball court, walking trials, and park. Yet, among the most enjoyed activities is taking some time out to enjoy nature and the wildlife that surround the community.

S.I.D.#177 maintains the lakes, streets, and common areas and performs many of the same duties that a city council would perform for a city.  The Riverside Lakes Homeowners Association organizes several events throughout the year to make leisurely lake living even more enjoyable.   

PARKING

The S.I.D. and Douglas County have instituted a no parking ban on one side of the street. This was done primarily to enable fire trucks and other emergency rescue vehicles to reach all residences in the neighborhood.

No Parking signs are now posted throughout the district.  Please familiarize your guests with the no parking zones. 

No Wake 

Nebraska Game and Parks has declared Riverside Lakes to be "No Wake" until further notice.

Violators will be ticketed and held liable for any damage their actions cause. If you witness a violation, please get a picture and contact Brian Toelle at 659-9556 immediately
